The Division of International Trade is part of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP). The goals of VEDP’s Division of International Trade are to increase the number of Virginia companies exporting and the volume of Virginia’s exports.

Agricultural and Forestry Exports
The Office of International Marketing at the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services helps Virginia companies develop profitable export opportunities throughout the world for agricultural, food and forest products.

Virginia Port Authority
The Virginia Port Authority is an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the state's leading agency for international transportation and maritime commerce, charged with operating and marketing the marine terminal facilities through which shipping trade takes place.

Public Procurement
Federal Procurement Technical Assistance Centers are local resources available at no or nominal cost that can provide assistance to business firms in marketing products and services to the Federal, state and local governments. Look for the PTAC’s link.

Training is available in marketing your business’s products goods and services through the network of Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) in Virginia. Domestic Sales and Market Development at the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer services assists Virginia's producers and processors in marketing their products throughout the U.S. and Eastern Canada.
